Lahore: Pakistan’s first Sikh cricketer Mahendra Pal Singh took the honor of taking six wickets in a club match.
In the first Habib Memorial ODI Tournament in Lahore, Mahendrapal Singh, representing the Wahdat Eagles, bowled brilliantly against the youngster Club. He took 6 wickets for 25 runs in the spell of seven overs to give victory to Wahdat Eagles by 9 wickets.
Mahendra Pal Singh, who was selected for the Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, says he is optimistic about playing more fit and better than ever.He wishes to have a chance to represent Pakistan. Mahendra Pal Singh started his career in Pakistan cricket in 2017.Earlier, he was honored to be a Sikh cricketer.
